We are looking for a Works Planner to join the Planning team in this new role. As a Works Planner (6 month FTC) you will be responsible for the effective day to day operational management of the electronic scheduling system, ensuring that appointments are made and kept, views are monitored and kept up to date on a daily basis, productivity is maximised and customer care is paramount. Opportunity for the Works Planner 6 Month FTC to go permanent subject to the 6 month probation.
Requirements
Key responsibilities of the Works Planner include...
- Monitoring and managing work within agreed timescales, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with legal obligations, such as Section 11 of the Tenant and Landlord Act 1985
- Conducting regular work output monitoring and providing reports
- Communicating effectively with teams, technicians, and customers regarding work progress and any changes or updates
- Rescheduling jobs in case of unforeseen circumstances and coordinating with customers and technicians
- Ensuring the timely rescheduling of pending or suspended jobs
- Liaising with relevant teams to address work quality, timeliness, and disciplinary issues
- Coordinating repairs scheduling and communicating changes or issues to the appropriate stakeholders
We are looking for someone who has....
- Experience supporting the delivery of responsive repair services
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Prior experience in a social housing repairs environment
- Proficiency in using IT applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and working with databases
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work to set targets and deadlines
- Knowledge of Section 11 of the Tenant and Landlord Act
- Flexibility to adapt to work demands and priorities
