This fantastic Primary School based in Willenhall is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them. Receiving a "GOOD" in their last Ofsted report, this school aims to nurture their children on a journey through life, so they can grow into safe, caring, democratic, responsible, and tolerant adults who make a positive difference to society.
Your new role
This role is supporting a Year 5 Class. You will be working from 8:30am - 3:30pm from Monday to Friday. You will be developing and delivering individual and group interventions to improve the children's reading and writing skills. Alongside this, you will be working closely with the class teacher to ensure that the intervention is aligned with the school's curriculum and tracking and monitoring the children's progress, giving feedback to the teacher. Strong communication skills and the use of initiative are all essential in this role, to support the child's academic progress.What you'll need to succeed

• You must have 2 years experience in a classroom setting.
• You must have a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• You will be required to have experience supporting children.
• You will be required to have experience working with KS2 children.
