Year 2 Primary Teacher

• Location: throughout Wakefield, West Yorkshire
• Contract Type: Daily, Short-Term and Long-Term
• Salary: starting at £140 per day!

Reed Education work with and support many primary schools throughout Wakefield providing high-quality education. I am looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Primary Teachers to foster a positive learning environment and contribute to thestudents’ academic and personal development.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and state standards.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
• Foster a love for learning and encourage student curiosity through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies.
• Support positive behaviour and maintain a safe and orderly learning space for all students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) students is highly desirable.
• A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student success.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
