Year 6 Teacher required for a vibrant and welcoming Primary School school situated in a small town outside Exeter, Devon. The school is dedicated to providing excellent education and fostering a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. The right teacher should be passionate and dedicated KS2 teacher available for a September start.

This opportunity also gives the right candidate the possibility of English Leadership (TLR2).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of Year 6 pupils.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
• Prepare students for their transition to secondary education, ensuring they meet end-of-year expectations.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and a love for learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement the Year 6 curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attainment.
• Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching degree.
• Proven experience teaching at the primary level, ideally with Year 6.
• Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and the ethos of the school.
