Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to come and join the team at Wakefield Youth Justice Service.

As part of the team, you will be working with children from the ages of 10 years to 18 years of age supporting the delivery of work to support our children to be happy, healthy, safe and thriving in communities where families and services work together to help achieve their full potential.

You will also help to promote children’s individual strengths and behaviours as a way of developing a positive identity for themselves and within the community to reduce re offending. All work is built on supportive relationships that empower children to be the best they can be and make positive contributions to society.

Ideally, we would like individuals who have some experience working with children along with a knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting young people in the Wakefield district.

However full training will be given that will also support in development.
