Are you looking for a new challenge in which to take your youth work career?
We have an exciting opportunity for the next person who wants to join our team. As a Youth Worker you will have the opportunity to shape the offer for young people in the Rochdale Borough. Managing a youth centre, a team of sessional youth support workers and a geographical area you will work with a team to design and implement a programme of youth work based on the needs of young people.
As part of the wider Children’s Services team we work with young people in a variety of settings. You will be responsible for delivering projects, mentoring staff and developing the youth work in a locality, so the breadth of this role allows you to really challenge yourself. We work with a range of partners across the sector to deliver an array of projects such as our serious youth violence projects, short breaks provision and work in schools. Delivery includes centre based, detached, outreach and targeted provision
