We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with a child in Reception class who has a diagnosis of autism and experiences communication difficulties. Your role will be crucial in supporting the child's learning, development, and overall well-being.
The successful applicant will be:
- Able to form effective relationships with children
- Able to accurately assess risk and support to ensure safety
- Able to work effectively within a team
- Able to work flexibly and use their own initiative
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of the Primary curriculum
- Able to communicate effectively with children and adults both verbally and in writing
- Able to liaise effectively with external agencies with the support of the SENCO
8:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday (including 30 minutes unpaid lunch)
32.5 hours per week
