My client is a not for profit membership organisation who campaign for tenant rights, working with social housing suppliers across England to ensure best practise when it comes to looking after their tenants. They are currently looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to cover maternity leave starting ASAP until the end of December 2024.
The Marketing and Communications Manager reports directly to the Chief Executive and will be responsible for creating and coordinating marketing content and facilitating department communications.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with experience in:
- Campaign and project management
- Social media management
- Website and content management
- Creating and implementing email marketing campaigns
- Creating assets for a variety of digital channels
- Excellent IT skills with proficiency in MS Office and design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator or Canva
- Basic video editing skills for social media Essential
- Ability to monitor and report on social media performance
Main tasks
- Understand the brand guidelines and consistently implement the brand voice across all channels and marketing materials.
- Develop original copy for social media platforms, websites and printed advertising materials.
- Keep up to date with a social media content calendar and circulate to department heads.
- Support department communication campaigns to effectively distribute key information to members and clients.
- Regularly update the website with the latest news, blogs and events.
- Design graphics for social media and the website.
- Support departments with materials for upcoming events.
- Create bi-weekly email marketing newsletter
- Support the membership team with communications to new members and member achievements.
