ABOUT THE COMPANY

The company is a highly regarded and forward-thinking IT managed services provider based in Cambridge. It provides outsourced IT Support for small to medium-sized businesses.

Services include:

- Virtual Physical and Cloud Servers

- Microsoft 365

- Firewall, Switches, IP Telephony, Cyber Essential consultancy/accreditation, etc.

They are seeking an IT Support professional to join their existing team. The successful candidate will work via a mix of home and office alongside team members to deliver a timely, professional, and friendly service.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Details:

- Job title: 1st / 2nd Line IT Engineer

- Location: Cambridge

- Hours: Full-time, permanent

- Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum

- Benefits: Use of pool car, Smart casual dress, Company events, Udemy and PDP, Hybrid working

Role Responsibilities:

- Microsoft 365 administration and installation, new servers where necessary.

- Firewall and switch/router knowledge advantageous but training provided.

- Working to SLA thresholds for incidents, requests, and problems.

- Technical maintenance and support of all user-based IT hardware and software.

- Liaise and communicate confidently with customers at all levels.

- Logical troubleshooting, prioritizing tasks, and excellent time management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- IT Support: 1 year (preferred)

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

- Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Exchange, Office 365, and networking technologies.
