As part of your role, you will be the frontline hero tackling IT queries, ensuring the smooth functioning of technical equipment and escalating complex issues as needed.
Role & Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Providing 1st Line support through various channels: Teams, phone, in-person, remote, and the JobWatch ticketing system.
- Performing routine maintenance on laptops, including backups, anti-virus checks, and updates.
- Growing your technical expertise while offering ongoing user support.
- Building and configuring IT equipment, from laptops to mobile phones.
- Monitoring support incident progress, resolving issues efficiently, and communicating with end-users.
- Ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar IT support role.
- Self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A solid understanding of Office 365, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS Services, File Server, SharePoint, PowerShell, VoIP, Exchange, Azure AD.
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Android, and iOS devices.
- A stellar grasp on network fundamentals and security principles.
- Excellent organisation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A collaborative spirit with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
