2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Derbyshire

2nd Line IT Support Engineer in not for profit and charities sector responsibilities should be:

• Providing analytical and technical support to IT users across multiple sites.

• Collaborating with the IT team to ensure effective support, working with frontline support, and assisting the Head of IT and Analysts.

• Travelling to various sites as needed.

• Ensuring the reliability of IT systems and promptly responding to system queries.

• Utilising the IT Helpdesk software for clear event logging and meeting SLA's.

• Participating in the IT rota and on-call support team, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Maintaining organised storage of equipment and ensuring a safe and tidy work environment.

• Prioritising safety, efficiency, and effectiveness in all work.

• Contributing to the development and updating of operational IT procedures, policies, and documentation.

• Attending meetings and training sessions.

• Adhering to GDPR, PCI, and licensing regulations.

• Assisting in managing and supporting external IT contractors, suppliers, and support companies.

2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Derbyshire

A successful 2nd Line IT Support Engineer - Derbyshire should have:

• Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
