3rd Line Technical Support Engineer required by my leading technical client.
The successful candidate will provide a wide variety of IT Support services to customers predominantly focussed on Microsoft, VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix, Cisco, and SonicWall technologies.
You will be working withing a supportive and highly techncial environment and ideally stem from a IT reseller / solution provider environment and be comfortable with interacting with business customers at all levels.
This position requires an organised, resourceful, adaptable, and self-motivated person who has good communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure, both alone and as part of a team. Previous Microsoft certification achievements would also be required.
Experience in as many of the following areas as possible is desirable:
3rd Line technical skills in Microsoft Windows Server
3rd Line technical skills in LANs, WANs, Firewalls, VPNs, Cisco preferred.
Virtualisation (both Hyper-V & VMWare), Storage, Disaster Recovery, Scoping hardware requirements
Windows Server, Exchange Server, Remote Desktop Services, Microsoft Office, Office 365 Migrations
3rd Line technical skills in storage systems, NetApp preferable.
3rd Line technical skills in CitrixXenApp.
