An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Assistant to join this family owned business on a 12 month fixed term contract.

As HR Assistant you will be based at our Head Office in Lostock, Bolton where you will provide remote support to approximately 215 branches and onsite support to our Head Office, Warehouse and HUB pharmacy operations.
The HR Assistant role will be varied and will incorporate;
Coordinating the end to end recruitment process
Coordinating our trainee pharmacist programme which will involve;
Facilitating a smooth on boarding process
Collating exam results
Coordinating training days and acting as the first point of contact for Trainee Pharmacist queries
Liaising with the designated training provider
Dealing with employee requests regarding HR issues
Coordinating employee engagement initiatives including long service awards
Providing cover for the HR Administrator in her absence
Supporting the HR Advisors with employee relations cases when required; this may involve tasks such as producing disciplinary invite letters and handling flexible working requests
Supporting the HR team with adhoc tasks and project work

Essential Skills and Competencies;
Proven track record as a HR Administrator or similar role for at least 2 years
A good level of formal education including GCSE, Maths and English (minimum Level 2 or equivalent)
Solid written and verbal communication skills
A good level of computer knowledge, keyboard skills and software including Microsoft Word and Excel
Organisation skills with the ability to plan and prioritise
Accuracy and attention to detail
Customer service attitude
Team player
Desirable Skills and Competencies;
Proven experience coordinating an end to end recruitment process
Proven experience coordinator training programmes
CIPD level 3 qualified or working towards

Salary range is up to £26,000 per annum dependent upon experience
