9906 – 20 hours Warehouse Inventory Clerk– Fixed-Term Contract
We are looking to recruit a 20 Hour Warehouse Inventory Clerk on a 6 month fixed-term contract at our Head Office is based in Lostock, Bolton BL6 4SA.
The required working hours are:
Monday 06:00-10:00
Tuesday 06:00-10:00
Wednesday 06:00-10:00
Thursday 06:00-10:00
Friday 06:00-10:00
We are looking for a competent Inventory Clerk to monitor and report on the company’s inventory. This is an important job role since the efficient handling of the company’s products and supplies is critical for the attainment of business goals.
A successful Inventory Clerk is a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping and problem solving abilities. They possess great attention to detail and a business mind-set.
The goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Examine the stock reconciliation reports for significant modifications of high value, reporting and rectifying any discrepancies that occur.
Identify and draw attention to possible areas for continuous improvement within the operation.
Adhere to established operating processes and work towards set team goals for stock accuracy and cost reduction.
To maintain and continuously enhance the precision of a busy stock control department.
Stock and rotate inventory regularly ensuring it is in accordance with FEFO.
Working with automation, recognising bin optimisation issues to reduce the frequency of need to replenish.
Ensuring product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
Completing regular PI counts to ensure stock accuracy.
Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualification Required:
Essential –
Good numeracy and communication skills.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
PC literate including Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
Attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
Desirable –
Reach truck forklift experience.
Knowledge of pharmacy and pharmaceutical products
