St Catherine’s, the newest and largest mixed undergraduate/graduate college within the University of Oxford, is seeking to appoint a talented and motivated individual to join its Academic Office. Applicants should be flexible and keen to learn. The role might particularly suit someone intending to pursue a career in Higher Education administration. The post holder will help provide the administrative support required for the successful running of the academic activities of the College. In particular, they will be responsible for undertaking right to work checks for all tutors and for using TMS, an online system for gathering and processing information about tuition, and producing financial and statistical reports for use by College Officers and committees throughout the year. With a keen eye for detail, the ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills. They will also be enthusiastic, friendly and able to provide a customer-focused service. Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable, but not essential. The salary is set within the range £25,742 to £27,979 per annum, comprising 35 hours per week.
