This is a newly created role for an Account Administrator to be involved in assisting the Operations Manager in setting up and implementing the operational processes for the Commercial Wholesale Team.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to Lockton’s Commercial Wholesale business and is an excellent opportunity for someone with for someone with existing administration experience to develop their skill set.
Role Responsibilities:
- Processing Invoices
- Creation of MRC and MRCE Slips
- Uploading of MRC and MRCE Slips onto the PPL Next Gen Platform
- Producing London Payment Advise Notes (LPAN) and uploading the completed LPANs to the Xchanging/Repository
- Prompt and accurate resolution of accounts queries
- Credit Control
- Dealing with any queries received from Xchanging/Repository
- Monitoring EOC reports and chasing policy documents from insurers/underwriters
- KPI monitoring and management - pulling system reports and liaising with Existing Business team to ensuring missing data is updated
- Data input
- Ad hoc tasks/projects to support the Existing and New Business teams when required
Candidate Profile
- Existing administration experience, experience in insurance and London Market systems an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in a process-driven role
- Diligence and ability to take ownership and work on own initiative
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in order to liaise with insurers, clients & other departments
- Able to effectively prioritise your workload, manage time and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality
- Microsoft Office experience i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel
- Work in support of other team colleagues
- Willingness and ability to continue to develop knowledge through formal and informal learning, both internal and external to the Company
- Candidates will be encouraged to take CII studies, working towards the Certificate in Insurance
