The right candidate will have:
- Knowledge of the chemical industry, and specifically the pharmaceutical sector.
- Prior sales experience and understanding of the sales Pipeline. (Essential if no Raw Materials Pharma experience)
- A full driving licence.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Experience with common IT systems (Microsoft Office).
The Role:
- Achieve agreed budgeted (margin/volume) by managing and developing new and existing customer relationships to maximise the sales.
- Be responsible for the delivery of monthly/quarterly/annual gross margin and budget targets using effective sales techniques and the company’s sales procedures.
- Maintain a sales plan for the area, monitoring and mapping time scales and actions required to achieve growth.
- Liaise with appropriate sales, technical and operation experts within the business to maximise sales opportunities and meet or exceed customers’ requirements.
- Ensure that the business operates within the stated company and industry quality assurance procures and legal requirements at all times.
- Visit associated operational sites and engage with local stakeholders.
- Attend company-based training events and selected industry focused exhibitions.
