Role Description

Our Commercial Team seeks an ambitious, technically-minded, solution-oriented Account Executive to join our Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) practice based in London. You will be part of a successful team, managing relationships at all levels across prospects, Customers, Salesforce, and internal stakeholders. You will have a proven track record of scoping business & technology solutions for businesses of all shapes and sizes. You will be comfortable holding your own in C-Suite and Director level discussions with clients.


As an Account Executive, you will sell Pracedo Services to provide a technical solution to our Customers’ problems using the Salesforce platform. You will manage and develop our Customer accounts and new business opportunities, participating and leading in Customer and prospect meetings and working cross-functionally with internal teams and Salesforce Account Executives as required.


You will be able to demonstrate your commercial awareness of the Salesforce ecosystem and a broad understanding of CRM, Marketing Automation and CDP solutions. You will be self-motivated, determined, confident in making decisions, and have plenty of opportunities to grow and increase responsibility.


Our deal sizes can range from £50K-£2Mil, with a sales cycle of anywhere from one to 8 months, so an ability to manage multiple opportunities successfully is also very important to the role. Typically, opportunities will be generated through the relationships you build with key members in the Salesforce industry and through Pracedo lead generation, which includes our in-house Marketing and Alliances teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the Customer base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Salesforce executives to drive joint revenue and keep Pracedo top of mind as a partner of choice
  • Work individually as a self-starter with plenty of motivation. As well as with the broader team to support Customers and projects
  • Lead on CMT sales opportunities and client projects, with support from a senior team member as required
  • Proven experience managing 5-10 accounts at any one time, either existing Customers or new opportunities
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops, understanding how the Customer's business operates and the priorities that drive decisions from the C-level
  • Align with and represent Pracedo values and act as a brand ambassador to Salesforce, prospects, Customers and partners, attending CMT and Marketing events as required
  • The ability to quickly understand and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies within the CMT space

Basic Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in services and solution selling in the cloud, software or consulting, ideally within the Salesforce space
  • Willing to self-learn through Trailhead and upskill quickly to become an SME on core Salesforce products
  • Ability to work to and hit targets
  • Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets and performance metrics
  • Proven ability to work well as part of an extended sales and delivery team
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Thought leader in Salesforce and Cloud Technology solutions
  • An active engagement network and relationships within the Salesforce Ecosystem is highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to work and present large-scale and complex systems to Enterprise key accounts
  • Working knowledge across the range of Salesforce Clouds, the software development process and software design methodologies
  • Consultative sales professional - becoming a trusted advisor for your Customers
  • Proven experience working with CRM solutions and/or CDPs as an end user and/or seller, ideally within the CMT industry
