Job outline: We’re looking for a friendly & motivated Account Manager to help us develop & maintain strong client relationships through delivery of outstanding, purpose-driven projects. You’ll have at least 5 years' experience in a client/project management role, impeccable organisational skills, and a proven track record of overseeing client projects from end-to-end. You’ll be brilliant at creating & managing budgets, timelines, documentation, relationships & expectations.

We are also the publishers of National Geographic Kids in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Our magazines are some of the top-selling children’s titles in their countries and our website reaches over 1.3 million people per month.
It’s our mission to inform, inspire and empower people to act on the world’s challenges through engaging and accurate storytelling and experiences. To date, our work has educated over 24 million people – a figure we aim to double by 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Relations:
- Act as the primary liaison for client enquiries and needs, fostering strong, lasting relationships.
- Actively participate in client meetings to develop plans & strategies that meet client goals.
- Coordinate with third parties and manage client expectations effectively.
- Utilise in-depth knowledge of Creature & Co. services to match them to client needs.
- Keep up to date with industry trends/people movements, for both existing and prospective clients to inform internal plans.
Project Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines and workflows, providing accurate cost estimates and monitoring finances.
- Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and scopes.
- Translate client briefs into internal objectives and KPIs, coordinating with creative and production teams and supporting pitch processes.
- Create and maintain project documentation including contracts.
General Admin:
- Maintain accurate client records and freelance/contractor databases.
- Co-ordinate with the Finance team on administrative duties related to project revenue and forecasting.
- Provide internal and external progress reports, supporting case study and award entry creation.
- Assist various agency departments as needed, including research, sales and event attendance.
- Facilitating, agenda setting & co-ordinating for internal and external meetings.
