Essential skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Demonstrable track record of successful business to business (B2B) selling
- Highly organised and structured in approach
- Analytical thinking

- Proven capability to meet targets and deadlines

- Experience of using a CRM system (Salesforce a plus)
- Strong computer literacy (standard suite of MS Office personal productivity tools)
Desirable expertise:
- Fluency in a second European language is highly desirable (German, Spanish or other European languages specifically)
- Min 2-3 years’ sales experience
- Experience in the life sciences industry desired
What will your role look like?
- Serve as the lead contact point for clients in your territory
- Establish, nurture and grow trusted, consultative relationships with client stakeholders
- Secure new business from existing relationships and prospect for new contacts, leads, and opportunities
- Negotiate sales that satisfy client requirements and maximise profit
- Build a pipeline of business and manage this throughout all stages of the sales cycle to ensure timely delivery of reports or services
- Collaborate with internal teams to propose and deliver appropriate services to meet your clients’ needs
- Be conversant in the full range of the company’s services
- Enter, maintain and manage records in Salesforce, according to the process and to the quality standards defined in our SOP
- Monitor and track key account metrics/KPIs (e.g., monthly/quarterly revenue, renewal rates, win/loss ratio)
- Be responsible for an annual sales revenue target
- You will travel, as attendance at Trade shows, Conferences as well as potential visits to client locations is required
