Account Manager - Medical Communications

My client, who is a leading Medical Communications and healthcare advertising agency based in the UK is looking to expand by recruiting a brand new Account Manager to join their communications team and work on several exciting accounts across numerous therapy areas.
As an agency, they develop bespoke, quality materials for their pharma clients and since their inception have become one of the pharma world's most trusted agency partners, with high amounts of repeat business.
This role would suit either an SAE looking to take the next step in their career or an established AM looking for something new, within an agency that has your personal development at heart, having it as one of their core values.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest quality standards, to exceed the client's expectations, while sticking within budget
- Act as main POC for the client, keeping them up to date with the status of their projects and feedback any issues/changes back to the team
- Engage in business development, by identifying new opportunities for organic growth within new or existing clients
- Mentor & manage junior members of the team
Experience
- 2 - 3 years experience working in Medical Communications within a similar agency
- Knowledge & understanding of the Medical Communications industry
- Track record of managing successful projects, while building strong relationships with clients and HCPs
- Science or business degree
- Strong communications skills
