Job Title: Accountant
Salary: Circa £45,000
Location: St Albans / Hybrid
Contract: Permanent, Full Time  
Hours:  Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm (with 1 hour lunch break)
 
Our client are an independent accounting firm who support a variety of different businesses.  This is an exciting opportunity to work for a supportive and professional team.
 
SKILLS REQUIRED
·Proven experience working within an Accountancy Practice - minimum 3 years
·Excellent communication skills
·Manage workload and work towards deadlines
·Competent with Xero, Quickbooks & Sages
·Ideally ACA or ACCA part or fully qualified (open to QBE)
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
·Manage a portfolio of clients, building relationships and understanding their needs.
·Bookkeeping
·Management accounts
·VAT Returns, Corporation Tax Returns & Personal Tax Returns.
·Statutory Accounts
·Support and train junior members of the team.
