Accountant

Reed Accountancy is working with a well-known organisation in Norwich to recruit a temporary Accountant working part time (3-4 days a week). This would be an on-going temporary position for at least 3 months with an organisation that Reed Accountancy have a long-standing working agreement with. Having placed several candidates into the organisation, we can confidently say it's a supportive, engaging and flexible organisation who have always worked to accommodate our candidates.

Due to the nature of the organisation, this Accountant role will be office based with plenty of parking available and the occasional requirement to travel to other offices in the group (all Norfolk based). This temporary Accountant position has become available due to an increase in workload and will be working alongside the current finance team who will be there to offer support and guidance.

Accountant Duties:

• Preparation and completion of management accounts - utilising advanced Excel skills (apply formulae, investigate variances etc.)
• Daily/weekly management reporting
• Accruals and prepayments
• Budgeting and forecasts
• Supporting CFO and Finance Manager with senior accounting duties to assist with workload
