Accountant

Accountant required. My client is a well-established accountancy practice based in Waterlooville, Hampshire. They are seeking a fully-qualified accountant to join their friendly team on a part-time basis, ideally over three/four days per week in the office.

My client prides themselves on the service that they provide to all of their clients. They offer a full range of accountancy and taxation services in a wide variety of industries, including; charities, individuals and businesses.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a fully-qualified accountant to work in a welcoming a friendly team.

• Manage a portfolio of clients
• Oversee other members of staff
• Meet with our clients regularly, to find out their needs and requirements
• Take care of adhoc tasks as and when they arise

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and be fully qualified ACA/ACCA.

• Fully ACA/ACCA qualified, or QBE
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident dealing with clients face to face
• Knowledge/experience using various accountancy software

This is a part-time opportunity, with the ideal candidate looking to work for three or four days per week in the office.

• £40,000-£50,000 basic salary (pro rata - depending on experience)
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays

This is a fully-office based role so a suitable commute to the Waterlooville area is essential for the successful candidate.
