Job Opportunity: Management Accountant/Accounts Clerk/Bookkeeper (3-month Contract with Option for Permanent Placement)

Job Description:

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented accounting professional looking for a temporary opportunity with the potential for long-term growth? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Management Accountant/Accounts Clerk/Bookkeeper. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to our financial operations and gain exposure to various aspects of the accounting process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

- Post journal entries and maintain accurate records of financial activities.

- Reconcile and analyse accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

- Interact with customers and suppliers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service.

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and management accounts.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information flow.

- Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation as required.

- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Experience in Xero would be HIGHLY advantageous

- (Part-)qualified or experienced Bookkeeper/Management Accountant.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel for data entry and analysis.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.

- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
