Are you immediately available? Our Orton Southgate, Peterborough client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their business on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave (9 – 12 months)
You will be responsible for all Purchase Ledger and other admin duties including:
- Inputting supplier invoices and credit notes
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Matching and coding of invoices
- Reconciling company credit cards
- Preparation of timely payment to suppliers
- Preparation of invoice accruals
Person Specification:
- Minimum of 2 years accounts payable experience
- Strong Excel skills essential
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a timely fashion
Salary:
£25,000 per year (equivalent to £12.35 per hr) + £1000 retention bonus payable at the end of the contract.
Working hours:
8.45am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.45am to 4.00pm on Friday (although flexible working hours could be accommodated – hybrid working available after the first 2 weeks).
