Our client, a nationally recognised engineering business, is currently in search of an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis for a fixed-term contract of 12 Months.
As the Accounts Administrator you will be responsible for overseeing various financial tasks and general administrative duties to ensure smooth financial operations within the company.
The responsibilities:
- Input purchase invoices and generate supplier reports.
- Manage suggested supplier payments on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Import banking and aircraft management data into accounting software.
- Handle company credit card data entry and reconciliation.
- Assist with reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash.
- Support sales ledger invoicing requirements.
- Review nominal ledger activities for accruals and prepayments.
- Manage accounting email correspondence and communicate with customers and suppliers.
- Conduct end-to-end payroll processing.
- Manage month-end task completion process and assist with VAT preparation and submission.
The candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar accounts role.
- Strong team player with keen attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Analytical thinker with strong math skills and proactive learning attitude.
- Committed to service excellence, with thorough knowledge of UK Payroll regulations.
