The successful candidate will be involved in managing both Purchase and Sales Ledgers, ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This role is ideal for someone who is proficient in using accounting systems and enjoys a varied workload.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Post invoices against purchase orders on the accounting system (Paprika).
- Raise purchase orders for subcontract work and issue these to affiliates daily.
- Handle daily bank postings and perform bank reconciliations.
- Check expense claims and process these for payment on a monthly basis.
- Raise credit card claims in a journal format, code each transaction, and process into Paprika.
- Conduct weekly payment runs and provide support during audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with accounting systems, specifically Paprika, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with both Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger tasks.
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations and manage expense claims.
- Competence in raising and processing payment runs.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting are advantageous.
