As the Assistant Accountant you will work closely with the Head of Finance in a modern and growing company. The business have international concerns and a UK HQ based in Leatherhead, Surrey. This is an innovative and high growth business.
You will assist with the reporting for both the UK and the US company.
- Working independently and part of the wider team you will enjoy communicating internally and with clients
- Processing sales invoices, payments and expenses accurately and timely.
- Reconciliation of bank statements on Xero software.
- Assisting with month end and year end accounts preparation and reporting.
- Monitor the accounts mailbox and answer client queries in a professional manner.
- Assisting in providing financial details and documents for R&D claim.
- Credit control duties, including chasing overdue payments and sending reminders.
- From time to time perform HR and general admin duties such as employee onboarding, policies and procedures as well running payrolls.
This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, although there can be some flexibility on your actual working hours. Standard hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. The company offers hybrid working with at least 3 days working remotely.
You will be joining a small finance team and working closely with the UK head of Finance. This role is perfect for an AAT, ACCA or CIMA studier seeking to build upon technical skills within a modern company.
