A confident and motivated Accounts Assistant is required to join a small team in an organisation in Peterborough, on a permanent and full-time basis.
Your new role
As Accounts Assistant, you will be assisting with the recording, monitoring and preparation of monthly accounts, ensuring all transactions are posted accurately. You may also be required to carry out tasks within other areas of the business, when covering holidays and absence.
Duties include:
- Processing of expenses/timesheets
- Preparing/processing payment runs
- Cash book control, forecasting receipts and payments
- Invoicing, cash postings and account reconciliation
- Credit card expenses processing and journal preparation
- Month End journals
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
What you\'ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have experience within an Accounts function, excellent Excel/IT skills and the ability to work well under your own initiative. You will also be a team player and possess fantastic communication skills.
