Accounts Assistant

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and proactive Accounts Assistant to join a wonderful finance team. This role is essential in maintaining their financial integrity and supporting the organisation's innovative endeavours.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will:

• Oversee invoicing and manage the sales ledger.
• Process supplier invoices and maintain the purchase ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Assist with financial aspects of projects.
• Create and manage data spreadsheets and visualisations.
• Mentor colleagues on accounts procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the finance department.

Your Qualifications:

• Pursuing or holding an accountancy qualification (AAT).
• Experience in an accountancy function.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Familiarity with accountancy software like Sage.
• Understanding of basic accountancy principles.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Methodical and organised work approach.
