Salary: £22,000-£28,000
Pertemps are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to work with their client, a leading financial accountant.
We are looking to speak with experienced Accounts Assistants, if you bring previous practice experience, are skilled in preparing management and financial accounting, and have a genuine passion for cloud accounting along with excellent organizational abilities, you could be the ideal candidate we are looking for.
We are looking for:

• A candidate prepared to apply their accounting expertise in the preparation of annual accounts for a diverse array of entities – spanning dynamic limited companies and partnerships to individual sole traders.
• Opportunity to enhance skills in conducting independent examinations for charitable organizations and preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts for clients across diverse sectors.
• Direct engagement with clients, ensuring their contentment and addressing any inquiries that may arise. Your outstanding service not only reinforces the reputation of our organization but also reveals potential avenues for new business. Your role extends beyond numerical tasks; it involves establishing relationships and nurturing opportunities.

About You:

• AAT qualified or possess equivalent experience. If you are still working towards a professional qualification, rest assured, as we provide study support to help you achieve your goals.
• Ideally, have previous experience in accounts preparation within a professional practice, but what matters most to us is your enthusiasm and drive.
• Possess strong numerical and data analysis skills, along with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet tight deadlines.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as we value building effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrate client-driven and commercial awareness, which are essential for this role.
• Ideally be computer literate with experience in accounts production software like Xero and Sage.
