Alexander Daniels are working with a manufacturing company in Derby who are looking to hire a Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be taking full ownership of both the sales ledger and purchase ledger.
Some of the duties include:
- Overseeing both the purchase and sales ledger using Sage (50 & payroll)
- Preparing and sending out invoices
- Setting up new customers on Sage
- Credit control and cash collection duties (credit checking when needed)
- Reconciling statements and submitting reports to senior management
- Providing cover when needed to assist with raising purchase orders, logging orders and processing payroll
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when required
The ideal candidate will have experience working independently, in standalone roles and will have worked in a similar end-to-end role.
