Accounts Assistant | Antrim | Permanent | Office based

Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a successful business in Antrim and are actively recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their small team in finance.

This is a permanent opportunity, office based and full time and part time applications will be considered.

Working closely with the Company Accountant, the Accounts Assistant will support with the following daily tasks:

Processing supplier & customer invoices.

Bank Reconciliations.

Maintenance of multiple bank accounts in 3 currencies including month end bank reconciliations.

Purchase Ledger invoice processing.

Reconciling delivery notes and purchase orders to invoices received.

Purchase Ledger statement reconciliations.

Maintaining the Sales Ledger Control account.

Support with balance sheet reconciliations and credit card statements.

Credit management.

Statement reconciliations.

VAT return.

Assist in the preparation of month end and end of year accounts

The software used is SAP and a good working knowledge of MS Excel is preferred.

The Person:

Applicants will have 2 years accounts experience, will be keen to develop their experience and learn and will work well in a small team environment.

This would be a great next step and opportunity for an Accounts Assistant  to learn from the Company Accountant.
