Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)

Location: Solihull - Office based

Salary: £19,000 - £25,000

Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, free parking and company pension

Are you an Accounts Assistant looking to join a small but successful team? You will be playing a key part in assisting with the seamless operation of the accounting and financial procedures within the business.

Duties include:

• Assisting with financial services within the business.
• Weekly bank reconciliation.
• Allocating and positing payments.
• Assisting with preparing and printing supplier invoices and getting them approved.
• Requesting purchase orders.
• Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
• Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
• Preparing year ends.
• Credit control.

Skills and experience required:

• Previous finance or accounts experience.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Customer service focused with a 'can-do' attitude.
• Computer literate.
• Good telephone manor.
• Analytical skills to evaluate financial data.
