Accounts Assistant/Administrator – Permanent Contract to start ASAP!!!
Location: Hockley, Birmingham
Hours of Work: 8.00am – 5.00pm – Mon – Fri (40hrs)
Salary: £23,920pa - £27,000pa (£11.50ph - £12.98ph) (DOE)

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar account’s role is essential.
- Knowledge of both accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential
- Knowledge of Microsoft office essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level of attention to detail, driven by procedures
Duties:
- Purchase ledger processing invoices and reconcile purchase ledger.
- Sales Ledger raising sales invoices.
- Post staff expenses, and credit card receipt and reconcile.
- Updating spreadsheets for vehicle fleet and training matrix
- Answer incoming calls (take messages / transfer / deal with as necessary)
- If required due to staff holidays
- Schedule work with clients and produce all necessary documentation for clients and operatives.
- Process new clients onto the Opera system, assisting sales with admin to update system.
- Update work planner as required, liaise with project managers.
- Take payments by credit card, processed on world pay.
- Deal with day-to-day office requirements, courier & post
- Deal with enquiries from clients either over the phone or via e-mail.
- Deal with enquiries from operatives to ensure smooth running of jobs.
- Chase suppliers and track supply of goods for work to be carried out on time.
- General office administration
- Supervising 2 admin staff daily
