Accounts Assistant (Credit Control + ) - FMCG / Retail / Hospitality - £28k to £35k - London
An Accounts Assistant is required to join the small team (3 people in accounts), as one of the team members are sadly leaving after 5 years in the role. The Accounts Assistant will be mainly working on the Credit Control side of the Finance department, but as a small team, they all support each other and there must be willing to support other areas as and when necessary. They are a friendly and customer orientated team, proud to deliver excellent customer service and supporting their clients, which are generally in the Retail and Catering areas.
This is not a role that would be suitable for a finance person with CIMA/ACCA etc, as it is a small team and stability is critical to the team and company as a whole. They are able to offer training and support but also would expect the person joining to have a maximum level of education to A-Level standard, or AAT at the utmost. You should have a friendly and positive nature, with some exposure and knowledge of credit control, with confidence in communicating via the telephone and email with thier clients, reliability and long-term desire to stay in a team.
