Salary We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a manufacturing company based in the Wombourne area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of our expanding family-run business.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the full-time Accountant in managing accounts for our group of companies, comprising 4 subsidiary brands and 2 start-up ventures. Handle various accounting tasks including invoice processing, credit control, supplier management, and financial reconciliation. Ensure accuracy and compliance by meticulously maintaining records and documentation. Collaborate closely with team members to meet deadlines and achieve departmental goals. Perform other ad hoc duties as required to support the smooth operation of the finance department.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, or Accounts Assistant, with proficiency in Sage 50. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Benefits:
