An exciting time to be joining this organisation, my client is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a proactive and adaptable Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator to join their expanding finance department in this newly created role. This can be offered on a full-time basis or slightly reduced hours across the working week.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with colleagues across the finance department, this is a varied role with key duties including:
- Supporting with sales ledger activities including processing invoices, credit notes, credit control and aged debtor analysis
- Customer query investigation and resolutions
- Customer statement reconciliations
- Credit card processing and analysis
- Employee expenses
- Supporting with statutory returns
- Assisting with costings and analysis
- Supporting with purchase ledger duties during busy/holiday periods
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of working in an Accounts Administrator, Ledger Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar role. Knowledge of sales and/or purchase ledger duties is key. Strong systems and Excel skills with a positive approach to learning new IT skills will be essential.
What you'll get in return
Starting salary £25000 - £28000
