Orka Financial is currently recruiting for a well established Product focused business based in Uxbridge who seek to hire a confident, part qualified individual for this Accounts Assistant role
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the with payment runs
- Managing all AP queries, taking ownership of any follow-ups when required
- Allocating customer receipts on the system on a daily basis
- Following up with customers for payment on overdue invoices
- Processing customer remittances
- Reviewing & releasing orders on credit hold, following relevant checks
- Customer credit checks as requested
- Getting approval on supplier invoices & processing on the system in a timely manner
- Reconciling supplier accounts back to statements
- Daily reconciliation of bank accounts
- Involvement with month-end close
Individual Requirements:
- Strong communicator
- High level of attention to detail
- Understanding of confidential information management
- Takes a proactive approach to tasks
- Takes ownership of areas of responsibility
- Target driven and business minded
Qualifications and Skills:
- AAT or part qualified accountant who wants to develop their accounting knowledge
- IT Literate
- Good negotiation skills
- Must hold a full driving licence.
