Our client is a highly successful and expanding family manufacturing business. Due to ongoing growth they urgently require an Accounts/Office Assistant to work closely with the Accounts Manager. This is a superb opportunity to work and train/learn with a dynamic, progressive and growing company whilst taking on more and more accounts duties as your experience grows.
Main Duties
·Assist with the sales ledger, purchase ledger and nominal ledger
·Help with supplier statements and follow up on outstanding queries
·Answer phone calls and take customer orders, payments etc
·Checking invoices and logging onto SAGE
·Update CRM system
·Respond to general enquires and allocate tasks to correct team member
THE PERSON
·A minimum of 1-2 years office accounts experience
·Good I.T. skills to include Microsoft Excel and ideally SAGE
·Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
·Able to work as part of a small, busy team
·Enjoys learning new accounts duties and expanding the role as they progress
·Good customer service skills and telephone manner
HOURS
Working hours and days are fully negotiable but would be a minimum of 20 hrs per week.
SALARY
A starting salary within the range of £25000 - £30,000 per annum pro rata will be on offer to the successful candidate.
