The Role
My client within the pharmaceutical industry is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a close-knit team within a professional membership organisation for individuals working in healthcare regulatory affairs. You will work closely with the Financial Controller to help support the documentations and control of the companies financial affairs.
What you'll do
- Deal with accounts queries from staff, customers, and suppliers
- Managing multiple finance email boxes
- Maintain petty cash system, prepare and process expense/receipts
- Enter and maintain sales ledger and ensure debtors are chased for payment on a regular basis
- Process and follow up conference and training sales invoices, including event reconciliations
- Prepare customer statements and deal with refunds as needed
Who you are
- Highly organised and efficient
- Strategic thinking and strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines
- Take initiative and responsibility
- Strong IT skills, including Excel
- Experience with Sage is desirable
