Accounts Assistant temporary

Your new company has been established for over 150 years. They are going through a major streamlining exercise and have been for some time. This has resulted in a system change and the need to take on additional staff to assist with the transition.
Your new role is to support the Property Finance Manager on a temporary rolling contract.

The duties are listed below.
Process invoices and journal invoicesSupplier statement reconciliations
Review and maintain related accounts payable queries received via inbox or the Hub (internal ticketing system) to ensure queries are resolved.Oversee collection processes, including follow-up on overdue payments, sending reminders, and promptly initiating appropriate actions to resolve outstanding issues. Collaborate with tenants, property managers, and other stakeholders to address payment discrepancies, disputes, or billing enquiries effectively.Calculate and invoice all rents, charges, rent reviews, etc., pertaining to the property portfolio using Property Plus software. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for properties in the accounting system.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a finance assistant/specialist or in a similar role. Preferably in property finance, but not a must.Microsoft Excel is crucial. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, pivot charts, VLOOKUPs and formulas, are a must.
Experience with accounting software Dynamics 365 is a must. They will consider AX
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations, especially in property finances.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple property-related tasks efficiently.
