Accounts Assistant, broad based role with prospects to progress, Wellingborough, to £26,000

This thriving and well established organisation is currently recruiting a full time permanent Accounts Assistant to join their busy, friendly team at their offices in Wellingborough. As the Accounts Assistant, you will have a varied role in which your responsibilities will include:

• Checking, coding and payment of supplier invoices
• Setting up Bacs payments
• Posting cash
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Credit card reconciliation
• Processing expense claims
• Credit control – chasing overdue monies
• Raising customer statements monthly
• Banking and cash reporting

This is a super role for a candidate who is able to work on their own initiative, holds previous experience working in a similar role or part AAT qualified, has good attention to detail and strong communication skills. The Accounts Assistant will be office based, working closely with more senior members of the finance team, and there are exciting long term prospects to develop your role as the company continues to grow.
