SalaryOverview:
We are seeking a Accounts Assistant to join our team on a temporary contract with an immediate start. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the finance manager and assisting with various financial tasks.
Duties:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments
- Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations
Experience:
- Xero
- Excel
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role preferred
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: From £23,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 22.5 per week
