Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: 12 Month FTC, Full-time.
Hours: 37.5 Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
The role…
As the Accounts Assistant your role will involve the following important duties:
- Running the purchase ledger, sales ledger and cash books.
- Production of the monthly management accounts.
- Monthly payment runs.
- Processing, coding and paying expenses.
- Raising bank transfer for inter-group foreign exchange deals.
- Raising NL, SL, and PL Journals.
- Month end reconciliations.
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT return.
The experience required…
As a successful Accounts Assistant you will have the following:
- Experience in using Sage 200 advantageous.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Part qualified accountant or qualification by experience.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word and Excel.
