Accounts Manager

An exciting opportunity has opened for an Accounts Manager at a very well-established company based in Mid-Kent. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a similar position who is not afraid to get stuck in and roll their sleeves up in a fast-paced environment.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

• General Bookkeeping duties:
  
  • Bank Reconciliations in Sage
  • New Supplier Checks
  • Credit checks and allocating credit allowance
• Purchase Ledger Duties:
  
  • Monitor cash flow and reduce costs where possible
  • Contractor and Supplier weekly payment runs and meetings with Directors
  • Provide remittance advice
• Accounts Receivable Duties:
  
  • Raising sales invoices weekly
  • Collecting debt and contacting debtors regarding payment
• Payroll Duties:
  
  • 4 weekly payment runs for all employees
  • Upload information to the pension scheme
  • Submit relevant reports to HMRC
• Overall Duties:
  
  • Cash flow forecasts
  • P&L and Balance Sheets
  • Weekly Financial Reports
  • Monitor VAT and HMRC requirements
  • Produce and monitor P&L reports across the company including profits, assets and more

Other reasonable Ad-Hoc duties associated with the position.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have proven experience in a similar position
• Have meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Have a proactive can-do attitude and not be afraid to get stuck in and take on any task at hand
