I can confirm the MD is genuinely one of the best people to work with, he is SO KIND! Anything you need family / personal wise, you don’t even need to ask the question, you can have whatever you need – he just needs the accounts filing and explaining in more detail as and when he requires.
This is not a corporate business, the MD is always present and he won’t be arranging a formal meeting to go through cash flow & P&L, he might just ask you when he’s passing!
This is honestly such a nice role for someone within a successful business, the type of role that is yours for life, in a business that truly values each and every employee and takes the time to get to know you. All you need is to be able to do the bookkeeping with your eyes closed and be able to look into these accounts in a bit more detail identifying any issues, discrepancies and to read through to someone without a finance brain!
