Management Accountant

Due to a year of success, they are looking to expand and find a recruit for their finance team! The senior management team are passionate about ensuring they have a positive culture throughout the organisation, ensuring all teams collaborate and creating a supportive network. They are now actively seeking to hire a Management Accountant on a temporary basis, leading to a permanent position to take control of the function on a full-time basis.
Your new role
Within your new role as Management Accountant, you will assist with the generation of the monthly management accounts & commentary whilst assisting with the generation of the monthly rolling forecast. Your role will involve:Review & analysis of the accounts & forecast to understand key variances and opportunities for improvement.
Review & control of the Bill of Material ("BOM") costings of our sophisticated products.
Review of stock & costing processes & identification of possible savings & efficiencies.
Interact with other key departments within the business.
Have exposure to the new ERP system implementation as well as other ad hoc projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will need to be confident in stock management and have experience with bills of materials.
- Have a genuine interest and passion for the role
- Great attention to detail
What you'll get in return

You will initially start on a temporary basis, eventually progressing to a permanent position if you are happy in the position.
