Accounts Manager (Practice Background). Hybrid working, Guildford - Up to £65k dependent on experience
We’re on the lookout for a strong Almost or Fully Qualified Accounts Manager to join a busy Guildford practice with some great clients to start working with. As Accounts Manager you’ll be ACA / ACCA qualified and confident working across accounts.
The Accounts Manager who joins them will be from a Practice Background, having worked with a variety of clients with different size businesses. You’ll draft and prepare client accounts, compile profit and loss accounts, understand VAT, draft financial statement reports and work closely with clients and other stakeholders too.
If you’re an Accounts Manager who is great working with clients across a range of sectors and sizes with a passion for what you do, we want to hear from you. You’ll be joining a busy team in an interesting role with some great work to get started on.
Below is what you’ll be responsible for as Accounts Manager:

• Draft and prepare client / statutory accounts of partnerships and LLPs
• Have a great understanding of VAT
• Compile P+L accounts, balance sheets of assets and liabilities
• Draft reports covering financial statements, client business issues, systems and controls

Here’s what they’re looking for in this Accounts Manager:

• Great with clients
• ACCA / ACA qualified
• 3 years’ experience in practice accounting
• Experience in corporate tax would be beneficial too
